When Atlantis Rises Again

id Atlantis exist? Contemporary study of the glaciers recorded one Big Ice Age followed by four Mini Ice Ages. We are heading to the fifth warming. Ancient texts say that during the last Big Ice Age, Atlantian civilization existed on tropical islands of the Atlantic Ocean. Rapid warming caused fast melting of the huge polar caps of the last Big Ice Age, which lead to a Big Flood called Noah's Flood.

Under the mass of water, the transform fold on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean cracked. The European and American continents started drifting away from each other and they are still drifting today. Probably this was the time when the islands of Atlantis sank.

During one cycle of precession of 25,720 years, according to ancient texts there is only one Big Ice Age and it is always in the Leo Age. Since according to our modern study of the glaciers the last Big Ice Age was 10,500 years ago, the next Big Ice Age is expected to be about 15,220 years from now.

During the next Big Ice Age, so much water would be frozen at the huge polar icecaps that the level of the ocean would dramatically drop down. As a result, the islands of Atlantis could be expected to re-appear, if they were swallowed by the ocean, but not by the cracked fold. This would be about 15,220 years from now.

Ancient Hindu texts (Surya Siddhanta) claim that there are 10 Ice Ages during one cycle of precession (one Big Ice Age and 9 Mini Ice Ages). Latest studies of the glaciers give for the periodicity of Ice Ages 2,562 years. If there are 10 Ice Ages during one cycle of precession, the length of the cycle of precession must be 10 x 2,562 = 25,620 years. Our latest (of year 2000) value of the cycle of precession is 25,720 years. The difference between the two values of 0.4% probably indicates that our accuracy allows further improvement.
